Surgical tapes are commonly used to fix injection needles, infusion tubes, gauze and other medical dressings.
Our company mainly produces the following four types surgical tapes:
1. Zinc oxide tape
Cotton fabric material, with medical pressure-sensitive adhesive on the surface, having good tensile strength,having waterproof and anti-pollution properties. It can be easily torn in both longitudinal and transverse directions, with excellent adhesion, breathable and close to the skin, suitable for surgical fixation dressings and lightweight catheters, more suitable for the fixation of large area post surgery wounds, such as gauze fixation, post-surgical bandaging fixation.
2. PE tape
The base material is polyethylene (PE) film, with medical pressure-sensitive adhesive on the surface, laser micro holes are evenly distributed, with strong air permeability, allowing water vapor and sweat to be easily discharged, ultra thin material, comfortable to stick. Medical pressure-sensitive adhesive has no irritation to the skin and is not prone to sensitization; the adhesion is moderate, easy to remove without pain, and leaves no residue. This tape is suitable for post-surgery wound fixation, infusion needle, catheter fixation, dressing fixation.
3. Non woven tape
Made of high quality non woven fabric material, with better flexibility and adjustability, making it suitable for various different shapes and parts of wounds. Easy to tear, no need for scissors, with a micro hole structure, good air permeability, allowing the skin to breathe naturally; using medical pressure-sensitive adhesive, no irritation to the skin and not prone to sensitization.
4. Silk tape
Composed of artificial silk, medical hot melt adhesive and core. Lightweight and soft, with better flexibility and adaptability, making it more comfortable to adhere to the skin, allowing air to pass naturally, reducing the possibility of skin infection. Using hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive, the adhesive is firm, the adhesive property is not affected by seasons and climates. Used to fix various medical devices, such as urinary catheters, gastric tubes, oxygen tubes, etc., to prevent them from sliding or falling off.
